THE ONTOGENY OF MOVEMENT
2 DECEMBER / THURSDAY
10:00 - 12:00 (CET)
THE ONTOGENY OF MOVEMENT

From primitive reflexes to complex movement patterns the first year of life becomes
the foundation of our action potential. Integration of primitive reflexes is paramount for ongoing movement education. Most of the dysfunctions in human body lie within the development scenario of the first year of life. My purpose is to bring you through the first year ontogeny to take a look at the way biomechanics of your most prevalent movement patterns have evolved. We will be turning and locomoting our bodies, finding the most efficient ways of articulating our joints. And you will know if you ever crawled or turned both sides and how you can use it know for better muscle engagement and control.
